Childcare Grants - The
Procedure
|
|
- To increase and/or maintain childcare places
- To facilitate and support the establishment
and upgrading of small scale private childcare facilities usually
not catering for more than 20 children at any one time
- To increase the childcare options to parent
- General Conditions Applying to Grant Offer:
- General grant conditions of Waterford City Enterprise
Board Ltd.
- Employees must commence within three months
from date of the letter of offer and full grant must be drawn
down within one year from the date of that letter
- Projects must comply with all relevant Statutory
Building Regulations and the Child Care (Pre-School Services)
Regulations 1996, as appropriate
- Planning Permission, Business Permission, Fire
Safety certificates must be obtained
- Tax Clearance Certificates must be provided
in respect of grants of €6,350 or over
- Grant beneficiaries will be required, as part
of the conditions of payment, to supply data, on request to Waterford
City Enterprise Board Ltd., The Department of Justice, Equality
of Law Reform, The EU, Regional Assemblies, relating to the facility
and its use
- All staff being funded under the measure must
have any clearance prescribed by the Department of Justice, Equality
and Law Reform
- The applicant must be a registered employer
and comply with all relevant legislation
- Clear and transparent recruitment procedures
must be in place
