Green Business - How to reduce your costs in Energy, Water and Waste Management

As part of our ongoing Networking Lunch series, Waterford City Enterprise Board and Waterford City Council celebrate European Waste Prevention Week by focusing on how your business can reduce the financial and environmental costs of Energy, Water and Waste Management.

For a change we will have three speakers at the lunch so we�ll start slightly earlier at 12.45. The speakers are:

• Environmental Protection Agency - Kieron Phillips
  To promote and offer practical advice to small business on resource efficiency in the areas of water, waste and energy to enable users to save money, increase profits whilst helping the environment.
• Econcertive - Phil Walker
  Presentation on the 'nuts and bolts' of the new certification scheme from your company�s perspective, how the scheme works, the benefits to the company, the costs involved, and how the Certification is maintained.
• Waterford Energy Bureau - Liam Fleming
  How you can identify key energy saving measures within a building, with a focus on no cost - low cost measures.

We are also using this Networking Lunch to launch Econcertive, a new environmental certification scheme that allows businesses to take simple steps towards preventing/reducing waste.

This lunchtime event takes place from 12.30pm to 2pm in the Tower Hotel and the only cost is your lunch (soup & Sandwiches, Tea/Coffee € 8.50).
