Selling Successfully to the Public Sector

The Public Sector market offers major opportunity for suppliers through-out Ireland which to date small businesses have not capitalised on. Public sector tenders go out every day for a wide range of businesses products and services, most of which are currently imported. Could your business find a piece of this market?

  • Questions and answers with presenter Derek Gaynor who has been the Procurement Officer at National University of Ireland, Maynooth, an Officer of the Defence Forces in the then Signal Corps and worked with four United Nations missions both in the Middle East and Latin America. A member of the IIPMM and also of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), Derek is a director of the Forum on Public Procurement and has extensive experience in the procurement of works, services and supplies.
