In addition to encouraging our clients to export to new markets we must also face the reality of our cost base and accept that it might be important for the survival of Irish Manufacturers to outsource some of their production. In this regards China has been the world leader but remains a difficult option for small businesses.

The Supported China Sourcing programme will help your business engage with Chinese suppliers that can cut your input costs by 20-50% helping Irish business compete in today's price-conscious marketplace. If your business is looking to control costs you'll want to consider sourcing from China.

The half-day seminar will help you understand the real challenge of sourcing quality from China, how to identify good manufacturers, how to engage directly with them and how to safeguard your China supply line through use of appropriate quality management techniques.

After the seminar, ChinaGreen will then carry out a Basic Company Check on potential suppliers and provide you with and an individual one to one consultation to advise you on next steps, giving you tailored support to enable you to source successfully.

The workshop takes place in the Marina Hotel on November 25th with follow on consultations being arranged between the participant and ChinaGreen. The cost is €180 per business (2 participants per business) and the programme is strictly limited to 8 participating businesses.
